Find Affordable Health Insurance in Wisconsin
Wisconsin is to be commended for its efforts to provide affordable health insurance to those low income individuals who otherwise would not be able to afford health insurance in Wisconsin. Like several states, Wisconsin has developed a program to assist its low income residents in obtaining the health care they need, even though they can not afford to purchase any kind of health insurance policy. This program is called BadgerCare, and it provides a broad health benefits package to fami

    Profiles of Success Issue #47 : AllPiercings.com Follow-Up
In issue # 28 (see http://www.home-business-network.com/profiles28.html) we profiled a brand-new internet startup called AllPiercings.com. A couple (Erik & Dawn Olsen) were launching their first venture selling "physical products" online, and allowed us a glimpse into their thoughts and challenges involved in starting such a business on a shoestring. This is a follow-up roughly six months later...Tiff
The simple answer is to not drink and drive, and for simple people that is fine. But having worked with persons convicted of drinking and driving offenses for over 20 years, I know the answer is not that straightforward.

The true answer is more complicated because alcohol is woven into the fabric our culture and society. It is a social problem as much as it is a personal one. Most people's perception of a drunk driver is of one who causes accidents and kills innocent people. This can not only be true, but painfully so to the victims of the drunk driver. But if you consider the fact that only 10% of drunken driving charges are felonies (involving injuries) that leaves 1,260,000 misdemeanor DUI arrests every year in the U.S.

Who is the 'average' drunk driver? The question again begs for a simple answer because if we could identify the problem driver then we could 'profile' him and prevent him from causing the problems associated with drinking and driving. The problem of identification, however, is in the question. There is no average drunk driver. Yes, there are more men arrested for drunk driving than women (90% men), and a vast majority of offenders are between the ages of 25 and 40. But from my experience offenders are generally 'normal' people, hard working, functional and no different from most of us. About 70% of adults drink alcohol and most of those who d

eBay Raises Their Store Listing Price and Chases Business Away
eBay announces that beginning in late August they will be increasing the store listing fees by as much as 500%, and final value fees for store listings by an additional 2%. Many store owners are listing using drop shippers. These merchants list the suppliers products, sell them, then purchase, and have the supplier ship directly to the buyer.Drop shipping has been a great way to earn money on eBay. And has given eBay buyers a great place to purchase new merchandise. Many e-books,

Building relationships with various types of people is important for networking both personally and professionally. You should take networking seriously because it can be a real asset for you and your organization. For many organizations, networking is a key component for generating new customers. Resourcefulness In Finding A Job
What do we need when we look for a job? We need to be resourceful. Why did I say this? Let’s say you have the skills or the talent, you are lucky if you can support your skills financially and start a business. But what if you cannot support what you really enjoy doing? Then you need to find a job where you can enjoy the skills that you have. In looking for a job, consider first this question “Where can I find a Job?” This question may be simple but this is really where we want to start.

    Compare Car Insurance Quotes
Of course it’s a good idea to compare car insurance quotes. With the information you can gather with a little time but relatively little trouble, you can make the right choice for your needed coverage. But just remember, low-cost car insurance may not necessarily equal low-quality. As with any industry, healthy competition in the insurance business almost always results in better prices for better service. The secret is to comparison shop.Don’t be afraid to hold out for the lo

If we are going to actually begin to reduce the negative impact drinking and driving is having on our society we must look at the reason people drink in the first place. We must evaluate how we can moderate the degree to which people consume alcohol (and other drugs) and provide alternatives that have some of the same benefits.

For as long as history can record the activities of cultures and societies alcohol has reduced stress and provided a sense of well being to people around the world. But today we live in a time that is unique in the history of our planet. Time is speeding up so rapidly the word 'relax' is only used as a goal for the weekend. In 1863 Henry David Thoreau published an article in the Atlantic Monthly (originally an 1854 lecture called "What Shall it Profit") in which he called for people to "Let us consider the way in which we spend our lives." He discussed how idleness was considered the work of the devil. Relaxation or the ability to be at ease is a missing component to what once was an essential part of our lives. In the days
