The consistent reaction to US power has been public lecture and condemnation by an institution that embraces moral relativism.  The UN is simply incapable of distinguishing right from wrong.  They realize that we are their competition for world dominance and they want to drag us down because they can never match our success.  But once we succumb to the UN, civilization will be doomed.
Finally, here is one step that might help stop the UN from bashing the US.   Why don’t we have the UN move its headquarters each year to a new country?  We don’t have to move the entire kit and caboodle.  That would be too expensive and too inefficient.  We will just move the Secretary-General and his staff.  We would have to limit the move to say 100 bureaucrats, so his pet psychologist, masseuse, personal trainer, self-esteem coach and others may have to stay.  Give them an office building in another UN nation.  We can start with Azerbaijan or Eritrea.  Then we can see how much they actually appreciate the US.
