they seem unable or unwilling to locate and detain illegal aliens that represent a grave threat to national security and the safety of U.S. Citizens. Instead, they create threats allegedly posed by elderly American Moslems who came here legally and are more likely to be Driving Miss Daisy around in a taxicab than blowing up fuel depots at JFK Airport.

The recent arrests of a few elderly men said to be part of a ‘larger scheme’ to blow up fuel tanks at JFK Airport in New York City was accompanied by an over-the-phone press conference that seemed more than a bit out of the ordinary. I’m guessing that no one involved with that embarrassment wanted their faces on TV at the time. As more details came out, their lack of desire for media exposure was easily understood. It seems that a government informant that was promised relief from some drug charges all but talked the accused men into planning an attack out at JFK.

With few funds, no plan or even so much as a firecracker to carry the act, the entire event has become an embarrassment to law enforcement and rightfully so. If we’re unwilling to seal our borders and admit that we are unable to keep crazy people from being hired for positions that allow them access to the innards of our airports, WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT??? I am the only sane person left in this nation that sees the huge gulf of pointless effort that endlessly oozes out from Washington as mere window dressing? Let’s face it, the future of this Country was written long ago by George Orwell.

    Nokia E62 - A True Business Phone
Consider an executive who is always on the move, from one city to another state and even to other countries. Carrying laptop is OK, but nothing would be as great as carrying a phone that works like your laptop or say, your workstation. The celebrated Nokia E series is known for its high-end business phones. And they have also recently introduced Nokia E62 or a Nokia Berry for all of those who are working while on the go.Let us try and analyse the features of Nokia E62 that makes it a cut above the others. This is infact the first smart phone that runs on Symbian series 60(3rd Edition) along with quadband GSM that makes sure that you stay connected all across the world. It comes with a QWERTY keyboard that makes it act like a computer at your will. A high resolution coloured screen comes with 320 x 240 pixels display that seems impressive enough. It has an 80 MB internal memory for data storage which is further expandable up to 2 GB with the help of mini SD card. So go on storing as much information as you want to without worrying about the storage space.Coming to other details, Nokia E62 has push e-mail support that is capable of reading almost all kinds of mails that you receive. With a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, web browsing had never been so simpler and easy, thanks
Gotcha is a game played by almost everyone. Whether it’s the neighborhood teens shooting paintballs around, college kids throwing water balloons at each other, weekend warriors involved in war games or tech lovers playing lazar tag, the game never seems to go out of style. Hardcore ‘Gotcha’ fans know that the best way to win is to fake out the competition. This is a lesson that the U.S. Government seems to have learned and put to good use.

As a person who still holds the record for the highest score on a Civics Exam in the State of Florida, I think I know a bit about politics and government. I’ve tried to share what I know and have observed over the years with mixed results. Few listened when I wrote my first article about how the government was playing both political sides against the middle in the late 1980s. Some were beside themselves with anger after I wrote an early 1990s article stating that people like Rush Limbaugh (conservative) and Mario Cuomo (liberal) were delivering the same message. That message was to stay preoccupied with side issues while the Republicans and Democrats in Washington lunched together on our dime, laughed about the elimination of our freedoms and consolidated their power over us.

Just before the 1994 Congressional Election, I wrote a series of essays detailing how it didn’t matter whether you voted for Republicans or Democrats. That really angered people, but the proof of my points came when the Democrats were swept from power and nothing happened. Apart from not having to watch Henry Waxman drone on about tobacco in endless hearings, or listen to Ted Kennedy play up to the TV cameras by harassing congressional witnesses that hadn’t killed anyone while drunk driving, what changed after that election? Were our rights restored? Did we suddenly feel any safer than we did before?

Instead of changing things for the better, Republicans immediately voted to give more power to federal agents and local police so that little things like search warrants wouldn’t get in their way. Their argument was that agents and other law enforcement officers needed these new police powers to stop the flow of drugs in federally funded low-income housing units. And although it sounds noble, what the heck does that have to do with the vast majority of U.S. Citizens that do NOT live in federally funded low-income housing units? Has it stopped or even lessened the flow of drugs anywhere? Since drug abuse has spread like wildfire over the past decade in major cities and now infects most rural areas as well, I’m guessing the answer is NO.

For as long as I can remember, Politicians have tried to find excuses to consolidate federal powers and limit liberty. It’s like a crusade for them. Why? Because despite their own political preferences, both conservatives and liberals believe that Americans are just too stupid to make important political decisions for themselves. They are part of a generation indoctrinated (or I should say infected) with the notion that our Country should be run by those intellectually capable of doing so. These are theories that have been pressed at every major college and university in America and elsewhere for the past one hundred years.

The ideas that fuel the removal of our freedoms involve more than intellectual snobbery. Candidates placed on the inside track to political stardom have deep connections with secret societies that control the military and industrial complex we were cautioned about by President Eisenhower. He offered this warning in a speech given in 1961:

“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”

The recent excuses for taking away our freedoms have ranged from protecting children to thwarting terrorists. Despite all the legal limitations placed on us, children are less safe and terrorists are still killing Americans in America. Despite all the spin placed on mall and school shootings, car attacks and small plane crashes, terrorists are very active within our borders. And why not? We practically throw out the WELCOME mat for them to come and kill us. While tens of thousands cross the southern border of the United States without legal permissions and defy us to stop them, Uncle Sam is too busy targeting U.S. Citizens that refuse to accept his Big Brother mindset to stop them. The case of Ed and Elaine Brown is a good example.

The Browns are tax protestors from Plainfield, New Hampshire, that have been on the federal government radar for some time. Apart from refusing to pay their taxes, I‘m guessing that the targets painted on their backs by the feds are there because they spoke out against tyranny and made successful arguments against taxation without representation. Regardless of the cause, there are now hundreds of local, state and federal law enforcement officers camped out near their property.

It’s obvious that what was supposed to be a simple seizure of their property for the value of unpaid taxes was always meant to be something more and an object lesson to anyone that decides to defy government on any level. The first signs of trouble were noticed by Danny Riley. He was walking Ed Brown’s dog when confronted by Federal Marshals. After shooting several rounds at him, cooler heads must have prevailed as Danny was Tasered and arrested.

Shifted between law enforcement agencies, the task force threatened and harassed but failed to get Riley to act as a decoy while heavily armed forces surrounded Brown’s property and tried to make an incursion. Instead, they released him and temporarily backed off from the planned assault. Despite grave danger to himself, Riley came forward and spread the news of his experience as best he could. At he same time, the few national news gathering organizations that have bothered to cover this event have characterized the Brown’s typical suburban house as a ’fortified concrete compound.”

The CBS News take on this event seems to be their concern for the safety of the hundreds of law enforcement agents ready to attack the Browns with everything from submachine guns to tanks. That spin is reminiscent of the unbelievably slanted coverage offered to the public in 1993 when the feds attacked the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas. At that time no one seemed especially interested in the safety of the children that were about to be murdered there. Instead, the media described them as the illegitimate offspring of David Koresh, the Davidian Leader, leaving us with the impression that they had no right to live.

While the feds have had lots of success when it comes to finding Americans who JUST SAY NO to tyranny, they seem unable or unwilling to locate and detain illegal aliens that represent a grave threat to national security and the safety of U.S. Citizens. Instead, they create threats allegedly posed by elderly American Moslems who came here legally and are more likely to be Driving Miss Daisy around in a taxicab than blowing up fuel depots at JFK Airport.

How to Walk Away from an Opportunity that's Wrong for You
    Q. I just finished a job interview. Everything went well. But I can't get excited about the job. The people were nice but frankly, I got bored.Should I withdraw my application or hang on to see what happens?A. Let me share a secret. I love country music especially the classics. Your question reminds me of Kenny Rogers's big hit, The Gambler. I can't quote even a line due to copyright laws, but you can Google the song. Know when to stay. Know when to put down your cards. And above all, recognize when it's time to walk away and time to run.I believe that everyone in business should create a goal, "Be able to walk away." Be able to let go of a customer who's a pain and a job that's creating pain. Be able to recognize a business opportunity that's all wrong for you, to say, "That's not a good fit."Feeling bored sounds like a signal to me. If you (or your interviewer) has trouble staying awake, that's like a red light flashing and a big siren screaming, "Go away!"So...what's the best way to walk (or run)?1. Expect your interviewer or client to say, "Thank you! We appreciate your honesty."They probably won't add, "Frankly, we agree you're not a good fit here." But most likely, that's exactly what they're thinking2. Plan for the unexpected. On very

Before A Loan Is Taken It Is A Good Idea To Shop Around For The Best Interest Rates
Before a loan is taken it is a good idea to shop around for the best interest rates and loan charges. There are many money lending institutions that advertise these loans online as well. Always count the cost of a loan before you finally decide to take one. Make sure that the project you wish to finance with the loan is worth the expense of the loan. Many home owners take this loan indiscriminately just because it is available to them. The fact that it is secured against the home always puts your home at risk if you were to get into financial difficulty and could no longer pay off the loan. It is better to save the money for any given project rather than borrow the money to pay for it.Most home owners do not have any difficulty in qualifying for this loan as the lender will check their credit record and make sure that they are able to sustain the loan. You might want to pay for a child’s college or university tuition fees and books with the proceeds of this loan.Home equity loans are very popular with home owners as they are able to access cash from their home loans. It is available to all home owners provided that they have a good credit record and are able to pay off the monthly payments. Banks and lenders are keen to promote this loan as they make huge profits from

Diagonal Spreads - Why Gamble on Stocks, When You Can Be the House?
by Don ShaprayStock speculators are always looking for an edge before making an investment. Their pick is based upon extensive research which includes many factors, such as the stock's past history and movement, expected earnings reports of the stock's parent company, volatility and volume of shares traded daily, and any current news concerning the company's growth or profitability. Yet when it is all said and done, the speculator’s selection still boils down to calculated risk. In essence, it is a wager, much as you would place in a Las Vegas casino. Of course, why do you think they’re called speculators in the first place? That is not to say that there isn’t any inherent risk associated with stock option trading. Far from it. However, like a wily card counter at the blackjack table, a knowledgeable stock option trader can limit their risk, hedge their bets and employ other people’s money in the pursuit of profit. For instance, when you purchase a Call option:1. You expect the price of the underlying stock to rise, so you can then purchase it at the lower strike price, making a profit in the transaction.2. You have the right to control 100 shares of stock for a fraction of the cost of purchasing the stock outright.3. You are managing your

The Introduction - It's An Issue Of Confidence
There are two factors at work in a prospect's subconscious mind when he's considering doing business with you: confidence and risk. Your job in advertising is to raise confidence and lower risk. If you successfully do that, you'll sew up all the business. So let's talk first about confidence. The problem is that in today's marketplace, people are more jaded, skeptical, and weary. Weary of getting ripped off. Jaded from bad service. Skeptical of offers that sound too good to be true. In short, people are generally in a defensive buying position. As a result, the tendency is to either do nothing (remember your third kind of competitor, the dreaded inertia?) or to stick with their current supplier even if the relationship isn't all that great. People figure it's safer to stay in a so-so relationship than test the waters of finding a new company to do business with. You can probably mentally validate this in your own personal buying habits. Have you ever gotten fed up with a company you do business with, gone to the yellow pages and called around looking for someone better, then frustrated and exhausted, meekly returned to the original culprit because of a perceived lack of better options? Of course you have. We all have. You know by now the reason for this is the confidence gap. The customer doesn

I am the only sane person left in this nation that sees the huge gulf of pointless effort that endlessly oozes out from Washington as mere window dressing? Let’s face it, the future of this Country was written long ago by George Orwell.

A quick read of his novel, 1984, will give you an amazing look into predictions made by Eric Arthur Blair (Orwell was his pen name) in the late 1940s. These included the creation of a politically-correct language, population control brought about by warnings against having sex and contracting deadly diseases, thought police, the revision of history, constant surveillance by authorities and an endless feed of audio-video information designed to brainwash people into believing that government had their best interests at heart.

As a British Author at odds with the University Thought Factories in the UK that were turning out socialist scholars like the Cambridge Five Soviet Spy Ring, Eric Blair was firmly anti-Stalinist. More importantly, he foresaw the horrendous and abusive tactics of Stalinism as being a bit too attractive to Western Democracies. If we begin to use the tactics of our enemies on our own people in the name of freedom, we become the enemy of liberty and the distributor of tyranny.

The primary lesson learned from ‘1984’ is a simple one. Never allow a small group of power brokers to gain control by changing a stable constitution created to promote democracy into an ever-changing document that supports alleged social progress. Power is as addictive as any dangerous drug and those that have it are likely to do almost anything to keep it. Meanwhile, we’ll continue to see these raids like those on the Brown Property, the arrest of a few mindless idiots labeled as dangerous terrorists and the rebirth of various immigration amnesty bills until one passes as evidence that the Cowards of the Congress are doing their job.

Most of us will never be lucky enough to enjoy the advantages that the political elite and their cronies do; we’ll just be expected to pay for those benefits with our blood, sweat and tears. And all the while our ‘elected’ representatives will vote for laws that support their own agenda, ignore the will of the people and make a mockery of the democratic birth of this nation. They will also expect us to thank them for these services which (in their minds) are saving us all from ourselves.
