So you’ve been chatting with this guy online for a long while now and you think you’re falling in love. He just seems like the perfect guy but your friends and family beg to differ. They warn you about the many ‘bad guys’ on the internet and that you’re probably better off dating someone from the ‘real’ world. You disagree – your heart tells you that he could be the one, but you just can’t help having that ounce of doubt that maybe he could be playing with your heart.

Well, it certainly is hard to find out if a guy you’ve been chatting with online is sincere or not. In most cases, it is harder than if you were dating someone in-person, particularly if you were separated by a lot of distance. But there are a few questions you can ask yourself to ‘test’ his sincerity:
