Can You Hear Me Now? Is You Phone Killing Your Business?
This is a really cranky article, but someone has to write it!Why do business owners continue to invest in automated phone mazes when we all know everyone hates them? Mom and Pop or multi-billion dollar company, growth is dependant on customer satisfaction. (…unless you have a monopoly)It is beyond belief that as many times as we all have hung up on automated phone service, that business owners still think it is better to have a machine answer questions than to have a live, friendly, intellig

In my San Antonio, Texas based Massage Therapy and Bodywork practice I often treat pain from various syndromes including Piriformis Syndrome. Like many painful conditions Piriformis Syndrome responds quite well to massage therapy and bodywork.

    What is Piriformis Syndrome?

Piriformis Syndrome is the name of a painful nerve entrapment condition in which the sciatic nerve is placed under abnormal pressure by the piriformis muscle. The piriformis muscle attaches to the sacrum bone of the low back to the top of greater trochanter of the femur (thigh bone) and lies on top of the sciatic nerve. When the piriformis muscle becomes tight and enlarged, pain results from myofascial trigger points (knots) in the muscle, pressure on the sciatic nerve, and sometimes from the S-I Joint in the low back. Debt- The Plight of the Baby Boomer Generation
In his book, The Cashflow Quadrant, Robert Kiyosaki says “The more people you are indebted to, the poorer you are”. I also agree with this philosophy. In fact, when speaking to groups or consulting clients, my attitude always changes when we start to focus on debt management. I am tough on debt, and I believe everyone who strives for financial freedom should be too. There are several reasons why debt is such a problem in society today. In the 1970s, banks started issuing credit cards. When they

    The Purpose of Pain
Think out of the box for a moment with me. What if the symptoms you have: headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, or whatever else you want to add to the list, exist to serve a purpose? What if the only reason your symptoms are there are for you to learn something from? Radical?Track with me. Think of pain in emotional terms, like the symptom you have has a specific emotional state associated with it. It means something. How does your headache make you feel? Does it make you feel sad?

    U.S. Most affordable housing Market
For a consumer, it is always disappointing to know that she could have bought something for a lower price, but would not be unable to do so because she already has purchased the product. The same sentiment also applies for buying houses. There are many factors to consider before complaining. The location, for example, can significantly affect the price of a house. Two houses of the same size in two different cities may have different prices. For example, a house in Katonah N.Y that costs $1 million

    Preventing Back Pain
Many women experience back pain when they first become mothers, but this can partially alleviated by changing the way the mother moves around with the baby. Just as when lifting anything else, avoid lifting with the back and lift with the legs instead. Keep your baby close to your body when you hold them, and do not pick up your child with your arms outstretched. It can be clumsy to place a baby in the back of a two door car, so consider a four door model instead. Front packs can help your baby ride bette

Pain from Piriformis Syndrome is usually found in the extreme low back, buttocks, hip, and often the back of the thigh. Most of the time the symptoms are on one side, but may affect both sides in some cases. Additionally, people with Piriformis Syndrome often have trouble sitting for long periods and the pain may worsen when walking or squatting.

What is the cause of Piriformis Syndrome?

There are a number of causes for Piriformis Syndrome including direct blunt trauma to the buttocks, prolonged sitting while working or driving, Morton's foot, or S-I Joint instability. Frequent or prolonged running on canted surfaces and participation in sports requiring quick lateral moveme
