    The 10 Essential Elements You Must Include In Every Offer
    Before you begin writing any e-mail promotion, it’s important that you sit down and clearly map out your offer. Do not skip this critical step.You want to make sure that you have all the details of your offer sitting in front of you before you start writing , because you’re literally going to be plugging this information into a formula. And if you want it to flow together nicely, you need be focused on the “big picture”, the overall structure and layout , when you are writing … not scrounging up the details as you go.You’ll need to prepare answers to the following 10 questions in advance:1. So if you will care to stop and do the five minute exercise, you might find out. You may have tried the exercise and you felt nothing, numb, I will challenge you to sit longer because beneath the numbness is a ‘feeling’ just waiting to come out and it is your own determination that keeps it stuck. It’s pretty much the same numb ness that causes you to let yourself down and let others down for that matter. Every time you have hurt some one you have been able to do it from this place of blanket numb ness because the truth is that often later on the numbness fades and guilt sets in which is so painful that we put on a bigger thicker blanket to numb us even further and on and on it goes. So lets get back to the teeny weenie five minute exercise , amazing don’t you think that its taken until now to get you to even try it, to take the trouble to do it , even when you intellectually know that it could be useful and helpful and go some small way to understanding this life that you have created.

    And finally you could be so excited that you didn’t stop to do the exercise because you love what I am saying and it resonates with you so you just have to move on and you will do the exercise later, after all it is only five minutes, yes? No, guess what that just another excuse for skipping your own internal stuff, just another way of ignoring the only important thing in your life which is YOU. So rather than continue to labour this small but huge point, please STOP now and ‘feel’ your body and check out where your body is holding any sensations, restrictions, tightness, sickness, anger, or feelings that you don’t yet understand. And now for the really tough stuff, I know I didn’t tell you that you would have to do some thing else, but lets assume that you really do want to get a grip of your self, you do don’t you? Then I would like to ask you to write down anything and everything that you ‘felt’ or did not ‘feel’ in the five minute exercise.

    Even though you think it is pointless, will you do that? If your response is that you don’t know what to write, then that is exactly what you can write, here’s an example for those of you who are already dismissing this next tiny step. ‘I am not sure what I am supposed to write, this is stupid, I don’t know how I feel. But I am pissed off, fed up with this already, I’ll make a cup of tea, maybe I cant feel, or cant be bothered, I don’t know’ Write it in ‘Your journal’, oh yes did I forget that too, you will need a book to write in which in spiritual speak is called a journal, but you already knew that one didn’t you. Have you got one though? That you write in? Regularly? That you put in your feelings? no I don’t mean a diary. A journal is a place where you can express yourself and lo

    This article is for those of you who have read every new self help spiritual book that comes on to the market place and with many of them gathering dust on your bookshelves. You might want to reconsider reading this article because it is about taking responsibility for your self, and can you really do this, to create the life you really desire. if you are totally disheartened by yourself and all the spiritual gurus who have seemingly not been able to help you to shift to a better life – then maybe just maybe this will help you or then maybe it won’t!

    The truth is that your really far too busy reading ‘help me’ books to actually take the time and effort to do something about your life yourself, what you want is for some one else to do it for you – and as you have already discovered with your bookshelves bulging and which is why you are reading THIS right now, no amount of ‘self help me’ books will get you out of your own stupor. And actually neither will I – only YOU can get yourself out of the same old same old tiresome round and round of circles and patterns that you have created to get you where you are today . So in advance you must forgive me for being blunt but the truth is all that you have got left and the truth is that you have read it ALL before, you already know ALL of this stuff, you’ve read the books, listened to the cds, watched the videos and prayed to be happy more times that you can count. And nothing works, does it? There may be some respite from the continued nagging feeling that keeps popping into your head that you are put onto this earth to do some thing with your life, or that you can make a difference in the world, or that your soul is talking to you.

    Yes in between the madness that nags at us and asks ‘what is it all about’ there are the

    times that we ‘forget’ or put more clearly we chose to cover up with the crap that consumes our lives. It’s so much easier – we think – to ignore the inner chatter and resort to the usual stuff – after all what can we do about anything its all some one else’s fault. So back to the pub, the fags, the food, the shopping, gambling, TV, gym, sex or whatever it is that shuts the ‘real’ you up. Oh now don’t start to argue with me and give me the bullshit that many people do in my classes, but what’s wrong with the odd glass of wine? what’s wrong with buying great new clothes ? What’s wrong with the gym? Now I will stop you right there and remind you that YOU already know that your talking rubbish, all of this is just another one of your reactions to divert the reality.

    You know that if all these things are done with moderation and are balanced and are not being done to cover up your feelings of lack of self worth that they are perfectly natural things to do. But lets get real this is not what happens is it. This is why your reading this remember!! Okay so maybe you don’t have a pattern of over indulgence – how about the pattern of not eating properly, getting enough sleep, taking care of your body in a nurturing way – what did you say ? What does nurturing the body mean?

    Or what about a pattern of self neglect maybe that’s your story.
    This is ALL your own creation and it is all just the story that you continue to live out
    – you’re the actor or actress and it’s all your drama?

    Maybe your pattern is around the kind of relationships you keep choosing,

    partners who don’t care enough, don’t listen, or who are abusive, obsessive, angry, passive, alcoholics, should we go on and maybe you simply can’t help your self. You could be overweight, underweight, depressive, constantly worried, suffer from insomnia, always in arguments, hate your job, having an adulterous relationship, lie your way through your life, be a lousy parent, live in guilt, be ashamed of yourself, be broke, full of resentment, loose your temper to often, ready to contemplate suicide. You could be experiencing all, many or a few of all the previous patterns or emotions and maybe nothing can be done , maybe its all too late the truth is that the choice solely and totally lies within your own control – you and you alone have the choice to change it or not ! You are the creator in your life and no one else.

    The problem lies not in whether you can change yourselves and the way your lives are currently running it’s whether you really WANT to and more importantly whether you actually believe that you already create the life that you are living. There are two fundamental beliefs that are probably the most important things that require that you shift your perception and yes you will have heard this said many times in many books and by many people the point is that YOU haven’t ‘got’ it yet, unless you can believe these two most life changing concepts or beliefs if you will, then enlightenment will not be yours. You must be prepared to examine these two beliefs and recapitulate over your life to ensure that you actually ‘get’ the messages contained within these beliefs. You must be prepared to get a grip of yourself to enable you to see the truth behind these two beliefs. Every single guru or God has in one way or another in long and drawn out ways in realms and realms of parchment, paper given us the very same message brought to us by Christ, Krishna, Buddha and Deepak Chopra there are hundreds of books about enlightenment and how to find peace, happiness, contentment , joy etc. etc. So why don’t you get it?

    Well the simple answer is that you read and listen to some one else who tells you what you need to find out for yourselves. The cosmic joke is that NO ONE can tell you or show you how to reach a place of enlightenment because you don’t yet believe there is such a place for you because if you did you would know that enlightenment lies inside you already and no amount of reading another book will open the door to the light of who you are, because at the moment it is just another story that you are reading about.

    So lets get back to the two beliefs that need to be understood and completely accepted before you can change your life in any significant way, are you ready, here they are
    1) we are all one – so how we treat others is crucial because they are us
    2) we are our own creators – we create everything that happens to us
    how’s that sound ? I can hear you now from behind the pages of this book. ‘Oh for heavens sake, we already knew that!!’

    Is that so, is that really so , that you already know this , Do you REALLY know these two truths or like the majority who have read it all, the point is that what you know

    is what you have read about. The difference here is that you can learn about geography or history or maths and English from a book, but no where in any book in any writings can you learn about who you are, what your purpose in this world is and why your soul cries and longs for recognition and that tiny voice that wakes you up in the night dying for attention.

    Yes you heard me – I said dying, tell me that that’s not how you feel some of the time. That life is passing you by and that you feel numb and your heart is dead and as you read these few words there is a lump in your throat, a quickening of the heart and maybe a tear in your eye as you recognise yourself behind my word. Tell me I’m wrong, throw away this article and continue in the denial of the self that is killing your life sap daily. So lets get a couple of things clear before you begin the process of diversion, this often happens when we are getting to the truth of things and you are unable to accept what’s coming next so you look for ways to change the thread of the argument. You know what I am talking about you will have done this more times that you can count and before you can do it here lets just examine what I have just said. There are many very good books that can help you to understand why you continue to repeat the same patterns in your life, and I am guessing that you will have read lots of them.

    They are so accurate about the many areas of suffering that you have experienced as a child, in great detail you are able to reinforce exactly what you already know and aware of, some times it is uncanny how close to your sad childhood they can be. Detail after detail is described what makes you the way you behave is a pattern or situations that stem from your childhood and usually your relationship with you mum or dad. But not to blame mum or dad because they also had a really tough childhood that’s passed on and on and there you go it simply never ends. Each book you read gives you a different slant on your drama and sad upbringing and each book simply reinforces what you think you already know, because guess what, you are learning about ‘who you are’ from a book written by some one else, granted there are generic models of psychology that can answer many of the questions about behaviour and why people behave the way they do. But come on, get real, you already know ALL there is to know about how you were treated as a child and what this has meant for you as an adult.

    Am I right?? So yes there is information that can be gleaned from books about behaviour and it is so comforting to be told time and time again that this is the reason for the way your life has turned out, because you can continue to recognise and blame the past. This incidentally also effects how you see the future too!! People who come to my workshops have spent years with therapists or psychiatrists going over and over the past that has shaped the way they live and behave today and although it can be useful to understand the past you know as well as I do that it just doesn’t sort out today. You are obsessed with your misery and it is so much easier to dwell in the past or to wish for a better future and in the meantime do little about changing it for you. You want some one else to do it for you and even though you know that its not going to happen , because you keep telling everyone its up to you to sort your self out that you are responsible for your life , you still remain in exactly the same sad old place! Don’t you?

    So now that we have cleared up the diversion about behavioural patterns and that yes, you can learn something from books about self help and spiritual issues, you will forgive me I hope if I don’t go into the reasons why and where fore that you continue to chose a partner who abuses you or that you are still stuck in the same old job that you have always had or that no matter how many times you try you simply cannot lose weight or give up the fags. Because by now you have already sussed that it was because of your mum or dad and it’s about lack of self worth and you have ALL the books and evidence as well as memory to corroborate your life’s story. Who am I to disagree and for that matter who are you to argue either, you might as well just continue to reinforce all these patterns because lets face it your not worth working with. Isn’t that the case, you really don’t believe you are worth the time and effort to do some thing about your life for your self, you want some one else to do it for you!!

    So now that we been clear about that let me stop for a moment and ask you to ‘look’ at how you are feeling right now – yes right now this very minute. Stop reading, take a deep breath, close your eyes and ‘feel’ what ever it is that you are ‘feeling’ and thinking. There is of course a difference , you might be thinking ‘ what a bitch, what the hell does she know about anything’ or ‘How on earth did she get this published’ and at the same time internally your heart is racing, you feel a sense of nausea in the pit of your stomach, or rage is bubbling in your chest.

    One process is coming from your normal daily reactions, out of your head and the other is coming directly from your body, which you cannot easily control. So go ahead, this could be your first step to finding something out about yourself, about getting a grip. Sit for at least five minutes and evaluate how you feel about what you have read. Breathe into your body, deeply into your belly do it slowly and see what you find. If like many others you skip this tiny request, you will already be telling your self that you’re not worth the effort. Regardless of how many times you may have meditated all these books this tiny request is a huge message for you to get.

    In Part 1 of this series of articles, I defined substance and process addictions, and described the four major false beliefs that underlie most addictions:1. I can’t handle my pain.2. We decided that there must be something basically and intrinsically wrong with us that caused our parents or other caregivers to not love us or to abuse us. Since we were too small to give ourselves the love and attention we needed, we were naturally dependent upon others for our survival. Deciding it was our fault that we were not being loved gave us the feeling of control: we could change ourselves and become the “right” way in order to get the love we needed. We put aside our wonderful essence and developed our ego/ wounded self to try to have control over getting love and avoiding pain. We went about trying to get the love we needed from others.The problem is we became addicted to trying to get love from others and never learned that we can, as adults, access love directly from our Source.Are you operating from the false belief that you can’t do this for yourself – that you can’t access the love you need directly from your Source? Do you believe that you are somehow defective and that the Source of love that is God will not come to fill you with love, peace and joy? Do you believe that you were born flawed and are therefore undeserving of receiving love from your Source? If you are operating from any of these false beliefs, then it is likely that you are still looking outside yourself for a dependable source of love.If you could see love, you would see that we live in a universe of love – that it is all around you as well as within

That life is passing you by and that you feel numb and your heart is dead and as you read these few words there is a lump in your throat, a quickening of the heart and maybe a tear in your eye as you recognise yourself behind my word. Tell me I’m wrong, throw away this article and continue in the denial of the self that is killing your life sap daily. So lets get a couple of things clear before you begin the process of diversion, this often happens when we are getting to the truth of things and you are unable to accept what’s coming next so you look for ways to change the thread of the argument. You know what I am talking about you will have done this more times that you can count and before you can do it here lets just examine what I have just said. There are many very good books that can help you to understand why you continue to repeat the same patterns in your life, and I am guessing that you will have read lots of them.

    They are so accurate about the many areas of suffering that you have experienced as a child, in great detail you are able to reinforce exactly what you already know and aware of, some times it is uncanny how close to your sad childhood they can be. Detail after detail is described what makes you the way you behave is a pattern or situations that stem from your childhood and usually your relationship with you mum or dad. But not to blame mum or dad because they also had a really tough childhood that’s passed on and on and there you go it simply never ends. Each book you read gives you a different slant on your drama and sad upbringing and each book simply reinforces what you think you already know, because guess what, you are learning about ‘who you are’ from a book written by some one else, granted there are generic models of psychology that can answer many of the questions about behaviour and why people behave the way they do. But come on, get real, you already know ALL there is to know about how you were treated as a child and what this has meant for you as an adult.

    Am I right?? So yes there is information that can be gleaned from books about behaviour and it is so comforting to be told time and time again that this is the reason for the way your life has turned out, because you can continue to recognise and blame the past. This incidentally also effects how you see the future too!! People who come to my workshops have spent years with therapists or psychiatrists going over and over the past that has shaped the way they live and behave today and although it can be useful to understand the past you know as well as I do that it just doesn’t sort out today. You are obsessed with your misery and it is so much easier to dwell in the past or to wish for a better future and in the meantime do little about changing it for you. You want some one else to do it for you and even though you know that its not going to happen , because you keep telling everyone its up to you to sort your self out that you are responsible for your life , you still remain in exactly the same sad old place! By the way this is not the same as sitting still in a depressed stupor, this is a bout being focused and proactive with your self and beginning a journey of understanding that only you can do. You are responsible for everything you do and think, everything you are and want to be in directly connected to your inner world STOP and find out what is going on in your inner world and you will begin to have a direct link to creating your life exactly how you want it to be.
