One value that seems to hold a lot of people back from setting and achieving big goals is the need for security. Security is a feeling of certainty that everything is OK and that all your basic needs will be provided for. On the surface there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s great to feel secure. Abraham Maslow lists it as one of the basic human needs. If we don’t feel secure, we can’t move onto higher levels like love and self-actualization. Social Networking - Taking A Stab At Second Life
Are you involved in Social Networking? After doing a great deal of research I decided to try Second Life, the virtual reality social networking site, as it takes social networking one step further.It took me a fair amount of time to create my avatar (image) to a point that I thought it might look a little like me. Sounds like fun, but it can be frustrating at times (especially when I tried to adjust my hair and it ended up floating in the air).
