Finding Wholesalers: A Comprehensive Guide To Finding Wholesale Products
Where do I start?Reading through your local paper or even the yellow pages might bring back some results, but for the modern day small business the frustration is that there are isn't a great deal of opportunity to buy wholesale products online. Most of the good wholesalers I have come across actually don?t deal on the net at all. This should change over time, but you should not just limit yourself to searching for suppliers on the Internet. Most wholesalers that I have come across stick to traditional tried and tested methods; word of mouth, local advertisement, or just your average adverti
ts as an excellent cleanser for the gall bladder and liver. The tomato ketchup is high in bioflavanoids and vitamin P, both are excellent antioxidants and so will help boost your immune system and clear out the harmful toxins that have flooded your body. The raw egg contains an amino acid that is one of the building blocks of a natural compound called glutathione, this is excellent for cleaning out toxins from the body. The vinegar may not taste great but it is particularly useful for cleaning out the toxins and is known to relieve headaches.

What Are You Selling with Your Elevator Speech?
The number one marketing rule is "Sell Benefits" The products and companies that excel are ones that push benefits, not features. The origin of many business relationships is the elevator speech. Those first few words that set the stage for putting two people closer together that may result in a long term and very profitable business relationshipIf your elevator sells features, you may get off at the wrong floor. Take a poll, no one really cares about you, except maybe your dog. What they care about is them. The old WIIFM "What's In It For Me?" And what's for them is not your opening salv
Ok, the festive season is almost upon us, and you've got to survive your end of year work function, the first of many parties ahead of you. You maybe saying to yourself that you're going to be sensible during this time and drink in moderation but just in case you do slip up and find yourself with the hangover from hell here are a few tips to get you back on your feet.

    Prevention

Although it might be too late you can always bear the following in mind for next time...

    • Line your stomach - the more food you have in your stomach the slower the alcohol that you consume will be absorbed into your blood stream. Fatty foods are the best; consider a glass of full fat milk as a quick and easy option.
    • Avoid dark coloured drinks - these include red wine, brandy and port and contain impurities called congeners, these are particularly toxic for your body.
    • Have a soft drink or a glass of water between each alcoholic beverage - dehydration is one of the main causes of hangovers, it will also slow down your alcohol in take.
Don't drink! Ok, maybe that's pushing it but you could at least try to moderate your intake.

    The Cures

There are four issues that hangover cures need to address.

    1. Dehydration; alcohol is a very effective diuretic so ironically the more of it you drink the more water you'll end up losing.
    2. Replace lost vitamins and minerals; as your body works to break down the alcohol in your body it uses up huge amounts of vitamins and minerals.
    3. Balance your blood sugar levels; alcohol inhibits gluconeogenesis, the process of converting proteins into blood sugar, and can cause your blood sugar levels to crash.
    4. Get rid of the poisons; when your body metabolises alcohol a poisonous chemical called acetaldehyde is produced, this is responsible for some of the more unpleasant symptoms of your hangover.

Here are some quick fixes that you can try that are based on these principles.

Bananas - these curvy yellow saviours contain natural sugars and are also high in potassium and vitamin C (something you lose lots of when you drink), magnesium (which relaxes the blood vessels leading to easing headache), and is a natural antacid so will help to calm a nauseous stomach.

Banana, peanut butter & honey sandwich - if you found the last remedy worked for you then go a step further and whip up this hangover blitzing sandwich, or better still try and convince someone to do it for you. The extra peanut butter will give you another shot of potassium and the honey is another great source of natural sugar that your body can easily and quickly absorb.

Whip up a Prairie Oyster cocktail (olive oil, tomato ketchup, vinegar and raw egg yolk, mmm... lovely!) - the olive oil in this rather exciting drink acts as an excellent cleanser for the gall bladder and liver. The tomato ketchup is high in bioflavanoids and vitamin P, both are excellent antioxidants and so will help boost your immune system and clear out the harmful toxins that have flooded your body. How To Save Time, Money, and Frustration - Solving Problems and Developing Skills With Your Peers
I have talked about the value of peer groups in my article entitled, Developing Effectiveness in Business, but what we haven't yet discussed is the value of facilitated peer groups. In this article, I'd like to share the benefits from the experience of someone who has seen real measurable benefits that far exceed the cost in time and money for being part of a facilitated peer group. To quote John Dini, owner of a peer-advisory franchise in San Antonio (The Alternative Board), the value of a peer group is that, "You get more out of discussing someone else's issue in a constructive manner than you do talk

    The Valuable Individual
How can we, as individuals, participate in waste management? Because some of us are so overwhelmed with Earth’s problems, we feel that our contributions have no real consequence in the end. For others, social barriers can be an issue. A lady we once knew confessed that she did not want to be seen buying used items or being concerned with power use. She was worried people would see her as cheap – a scrooge – when the family was so affluent. Yet, she was very careful to be seen with recycling bins out on the curb on pick-up day, because that was thought to be the thing to do socially. Now is a

    Boat Parts Wish List
Whether your boat is old or new, it's always fun to make improvements, and the possibilities are endless when it comes to boat parts. Boat parts and accessories can range from a new propeller to a spiffy boat cover and everything in between.Boat parts can be broken down into categories so that wish list will be easier to create. Many boat owners start from the bottom of their boat and work their way up. For example, many start with anchor and docking needs. Is your anchor big enough, or too big? Do you have adequate rope for your docking needs? Moving right along, the cabin is usually the next part of th

Responsibility + Sensitivity = Cooperative Authority
I was wondering if you can give me some advice. I work as a salesman and the company owner is a DICTATOR. Nothing is accepted unless he personally approves it. That’s causing us big problems since we can’t sell on the spot. And if the bargain isn’t completed at the moment, someone else will come and take it. Salesmen here don’t have any authority to do anything. We get embarrassed in front of our clients. This is not professional. And if anyone talks about this problem, the owner simply says, ‘It’s my money and not yours.’ What can I do to convince him? I would appreciate your ideas about this.***

Vitamin pills - seems obvious enough, quickly and easily replace what you lost. Just pop a couple of pills before going out and then (if you remember) when you get home. Particularly important are vitamin B and C.

Cola - sometimes drinking plain water can be a struggle and your stomach might complain. Drinking a can of cola will give your blood sugar levels a quick boost, so stay clear of the Light stuff, and the bubbles will help to calm your stomach. The caffeine might even give enough strength to fix up one of the more involved cures just mentioned, just remember that cola is also a diuretic so you're still going to get some other liquid in you as well.

Fruit juice - will help to give your body a dose of well needed vitamins as well as helping it to hydrate, it also contains high levels of fructose.

Green Tea or Jasmine - these drinks are renowned for their healing properties and ability to cleanse your body of toxins, they will of course aid in hydration and if you add a teaspoon of honey will help to balance your blood sugar.

Ok you should now be armed with a few cures to try during the season of excess. If you are unfortunate enough to have to try them, and the chances are you will be, then remember Bill Hicks' wise morning after mantra, "I swear I'll never drink again... and this time I mean it!"
