Laughter As Medicine
People, doctors and health care workers are finding that laughter may indeed be the best medicine. Laughing removes stress hormones, and boosts immune function by raising levels of T-cells, disease-fighting proteins called Gamma-interferon, and B-cells, which produce disease-destroying antibodies.
Laughter also triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain killers, and produces a general sense of well-being.

Neck Pain - Trapezius
Neck pain is very commonly shown by most people to be in the region of the back of the neck and between the base of the neck to the shoulder, primarily indicating the region of the trapezius muscle.
Trapezius is a big diamond shaped muscle with 3 parts: the upper, middle and lower portions. Trapezius forms the slope of the shoulder. It arises from the back of the skull and from the spines of the C7 to T2 vertebrae. It attaches to the outer one third of the collarbone and acromion and the spine of the shoulder blade. It receives nerve supply from the accessory nerve and the C1 to C4 cervical nerve roots.

Lower Back Pain - The Role Of Hamstrings
Lower back pain is most commonly from spinal nerve root L5 irritation followed by the S1 nerve root. Both nerve roots are strongly represented in the buttock muscle (gluteus maximus: predominant S1) and the inner thigh muscle (adductor magnus: the lower part L5, S1), hamstring muscles (L5 and S1), gluteus medius (predominant L5) and tensor fascia lata (predominant L5).
There are two parts tto the long hamstring muscles, the outer part (has one lateral muscle) and the inner part has (two medial) muscles. There is also another muscle known as the short hamstring muscle.

Lower Back Pain - Rectus Femoris
Lower back pain with irritation of the L3, L4 nerve roots can cause pain and spasm in the rectus femoris and pain and spasm in this muscle will aggravate lower back pain.
This muscle is one of the four muscles termed the quadriceps muscles. The quadriceps are the muscles in the front of the the knee. Since rectus femoris is the only muscle of the quadriceps that crosses over the hip joint as well as the knee joint, this muscle is more vulnerable to trauma than the other three quadriceps muscles (vastus lateralis, vastus medialis and vastus intermedius).
