Working in Unusual Places
I recently read that Malcolm Gladwell wrote most of his book Blink while away from his desk. He wrote at coffee shops, restaurants, and other public places.
I’ve only done a little of this myself, but I’ve always found it a valuable practice. If I feel stuck in a creative rut, working in a public place is a great way to get new ideas flowing.

Enhance Your Creativity
We all have creative blocks from time to time. Creativity requires positive thinking! As a musician, its important to believe in yourself and create the right environment in order to feel more creative and be spontaneous. Of course, if you don’t take yourself first, you can’t be creative at all. To increase your creativity, make sure you get enough sleep, practice deep breathing, daydream, and find other ways to relax. Eat foods that nourish you and drink plenty of water. Once your basic needs are met, your body will allow your mind to explore new ideas.

Scientists know, but can’t explain exactly how the process works, but if you study mathematics, your musical ability improves. If you read extensively your ability to develop new physical skills or artistic abilities is augmented. Note how each one can be strengthened and expanded using simple activities practiced on a regular basis.

Are You Working on Your Masterpiece?
Have you ever thought about your career or the work you do as art...as a form of personal creative expression? We can easily summon an image of the painter, sculptor, musician, writer or inventor in their studio, engaged in the wonderful process of creating a masterpiece.
Try applying this analogy to you and the work you do. Your career...past, present and future is a canvas upon which you are painting, a block of stone upon which you are chiselling. The work you do, the life you lead, are the works of art that you create.

Creativity- Ways To Be More Creative
Our minds are often like glasses of water filled with dirt. The stresses that we endure throughout our day cause that glass to get shaken up. The water gets murky and our minds are distracted. This is when we are at our least creative state of mind.

Creativity and Society
What is creativity? Have you ever heard someone say that person is creative? Do we really understand what a creative person is? Some of those we call creative do not see themselves as creative? Others we do not see as creative may actually be? We do not consider people who are smart creative, yet someone who is creative could also theoretically be a smart individual.

Clutter is just one part of our surroundings – our physical environment – that has an impact on our creativity. This article will look at some other factors, and how they impact not only our creative expression and emotional and mental well being, but also our physical health and safety.

Courage and Creating
Doing anything creative often brings up fears, anxieties, insecurities. Courage may be defined as going ahead in spite of fear. But many creators not only live with their fears, they welcome them.
