The most important question in my mind, though, is: do we really need to have an excuse for not having sex? What does one do to avoid such a conflict of interests that is so obviously important in a relationship?

Over these past twenty five years researching and studying the science of love, I have often come across terms which defy rational thought, yet are considered everyday reality. One of those terms, which I would like to examine today is emotional abuse.

Women who are in relationships and in general make threats they cannot keep most of the time. They do so mainly because they are not coming from a place of strength but rather weakness (soft). It works because they are soft and men back down easily sometimes, yet when it doesn't work all that happens is the man maintains his position of power and the relationship remains the same if not strengthened by the man displaying his strength.

One of the common marriage problems, which often materialises early on in a relationship, is boredom. Couples often find that after the honeymoon period is behind them and they have settled in to married life it isn’t quite the constant bed of roses that they imagined it to be.

Modern communication technology is supposed to make us more connected at a time when we're all so busy. But if we're not careful, it can actually interfere with our ability to be close and present with our friends and loved ones.
